Itinerary


  • Day 1

    Day 01: Transfer From Chandigarh to Narkanda (190 Km, 4-5 hrs)

    • On reaching Chandigarh, our driver will pick you up from Chandigarh airport or railway station and take you to your first stop - Narkanda. Your drive to Narkanda will be via magical Shimla.
    • The route will offer pictorial scenic views of the lush green mountains and valleys. On the way, you will be able to witness the true beauty of Fagu, Theog, Matiana, Narkanda Apple orchards, and Hattu Peak.
    • Hattu Peak is a spot - where you can witness the beauty of the mighty central Himalayas. On reaching Narkanda, you can check into your hotel and relax. It's time to have dinner and retire for the day.
  • Day 2

    Day 02: Transfer From Narkanda to Sangla (160 Km, 7-8m hrs)

    • It's the day to head to Sangla. Have your delicious breakfast and check out from your hotel. Our driver will then take you to Sangla Valley via Rampur. Ideally, Sangla is known as the gateway to Kinnaur Valley. After which, you can make a quick stop at Hattu Peak (3,400 meters).
    • It's the same place - from where you can see the beauty of the snow-clad central Himalayan belt. After that, you can visit the traditional wooden carved temple of Goddess Kali on the top.
    • Seek blessings at the temple and then head to another popular temple in the region - Bhimakali at Sarahan. Human sacrifices were made in the temple in the 18th century, and there is a history behind the story - you will know when you visit.
    • After your temple visit, continue your drive toward Sangla. On reaching Sangla, check into your hotel, have dinner, and retire for the day.
  • Day 3

    Day 03: Local Sightseeing of Chitkul Sangla Valley

    • Get up to the incredible views of Sangla and have your breakfast. It's time to head for a local tour around the region. Your first destination will be - Kamru village. You can walk around the village fort and visit a popular temple near the fort dedicated to Kamaksha Devi.
    • As Sangla is situated on the right bank of the Baspa River, its soil is fertile. Also, at an elevation of 2621 m above sea level, the views from the village are breathtaking.
    • The village is built on a slope with the house rising one above - you can witness the magnificence of gigantic Raldang Peaks towering behind. Your next stop will be Chitkul village. It's a popular tourist spot and the last village on the Indo-Tibet border.
    • Later, you can visit Baspa Valley, the most pictorial one in the region. It's surrounded by terrains and green vegetation. Ideally, you can also witness the beauty of the gigantic Kinner Kailash peak from the valley. Head back to your hotel, have dinner, and retire for the day.
  • Day 4

    Day 04: Sangla to Kalpa Local Sightseeing 2,759 meters / 9,048 feet (40 kms/ 2-3 hrs)

    • It's a long day ahead as today you will visit Kalpa. Have your delicious breakfast and get ready to visit your first destination - Kalpa village. You can stop at the most famous tourist attraction - Recongpeo (district headquarters of Kinnaur). The market around is the best place to buy souvenirs for your loved ones. Ideally, it's also the best place to stop for lunch, and you can try some flavorful Tibetan food at a local restaurant here.
    • After lunch, you can visit two famous villages - Kalpa village and Roghi village. Both villages are covered with pine trees and apple orchards. Also, you can witness the magnificence of Mt. Kinner Kailash Mountain (6000 meters) from Kalpa village. Beyond the beautiful scenic views, the sunrise views are truly mesmerizing when the rays fall on the snow-clad peaks emanating a crimson-yellow glow.
    • Kalpa is situated on the old Hindustan road and is also known as the heritage village. On reaching Kalpa, check into your hotel and relax. Have dinner and retire for the day.
  • Day 5

    Day 05: Kalpa to Kaza via Nako Lake And Tabo (200 kms / 8-9 hrs)

    • Start your day early and have breakfast, as you will head to your next destination - Kaza. On the way, you can stop at the two most famous tourist spots - Nako Lake and Tabo Monastery. Nako Lake offers pictorial views of the region, and Tabo monastery is one of the oldest monasteries of Himachal.
    • Later, you will reach Dhankar village and Dhankar monastery and fort. Meditate for some time in the Monastery to experience peace. It's an ideal place to stop for a tea break or lunch break.
    • By evening, you will reach Kaza. Check into your hotel and relax. If time - you can visit the local Kaza market. Have dinner and retire for the day.
  • Day 6

    Day 06: Sightseeing around Kaza (5-6 hrs)

    • Get up to the wonderful views and have your delicious breakfast. It's the day for a local tour of Kaza. Your first destination will be - Lagnza village. Once you reach, you can take nature walks and visit the monastery at the top of the village. Don't forget to look for fossils on the way, and you can also see yak grazing in the pastures at the spot.
    • If the weather is perfect, your next destination will be Hikkim and the Comic Village. It's the world's highest village connected to a road. Continue your drive to your next stop - Kee Monastery and the Kibber village.
    • You are free to explore the Kibber village, where you will also see herds of Himalayan blue sheep and snow ibex. Ideally, you can stop for lunch at a local restaurant in Kibber and try authentic Tibetan dishes. Head back to your hotel, have dinner, and retire for the day.
  • Day 7

    Day 07: Kaza to Chandratal Lake (114 Kms, 6-7 hrs)

    • It's an eventful day as today you will visit the most pictorial place - Chandratal Lake. Have breakfast and head for the lake site after crossing Kunzum Pass (15,100 ft). Once you reach Baltal - you can change your car to Sumo for an easy drive.
    • The lake has deep blue water and a circumference of 2.5 Kms. There is also a belief that - it's the same spot where the God Indra`s chariot took the eldest Pandava brother Yudhistra to heaven in his mortal form.
    • Spend your time admiring the beauty of the lake site. Have dinner and get ready for overnight camping under the night sky.
  • Day 8

    Day 08: Chandratal to Manali 2,050 meters / 6,726 feet ( 100 kms /06 hrs)

    • Get up to the wonderful views of Lake Camp and have breakfast under the clear sky, an experience you will never forget. After which, you will leave for Manali. On the way, you can stop for lunch at a local restaurant.
    • Ideally, you will cross two mountain passes - Kunzum Pass (4,558 meters) being the highest one. There is a temple you can visit near the pass to seek blessings. Also, you will witness the beauty of CB ranges from the spot.
    • Later, you will cross the most famous tourist spot - Rohtang Pass. It's known for its Himalayan views and adventure activities. On reaching Manali, you can check into your hotel and relax. You are free to visit the local Manali market. Have dinner and retire for the day.
  • Day 9

    Day 09: Manali to Chandigarh Drop(310 kms – 08-09 hrs)

    • It's the last day of your mind-blowing tour, but you will take along many memories of the trip. Have breakfast, and our driver will take you to Chandigarh via Kullu, Aut, Hanogi Devi temple, and Pandoh Dam.
    • You can seek blessings at the temple and stop for lunch near the dam. On reaching Chandigarh, our driver will drop you at Chandigarh airport or railway station. The tour will give you a new insight into life.
